Meet Michael Ivery — an Arizona-based creative whose path has moved from the DJ booth to the world of children’s storytelling. After 20+ years as an award-winning DJ and event producer, Michael shifted his focus to writing and illustrating, inspired by his kids and a lifelong love of creativity, music, and imagination.
He is the creator of Tubba and Friends, a children’s world rooted in kindness, adventure, and playful learning. Influenced by classics like Peanuts and Sesame Street, Michael aims to spark wonder and bring families together through stories that help kids feel seen, encouraged, and excited to explore.
