Ancient myths have captivated readers for thousands of years, but Laura Nastasia invites them to experience those legends from an entirely new perspective.
An Arizona author and creator of the Soul Ferriers series, Laura writes fantasy adventures inspired by Egyptian mythology, where unforgettable animal heroes journey through the mysteries of the Afterlife. Her debut novel, Soul Ferriers: The Day of Darkness, combines epic adventure, rich mythology, and imaginative world-building into a story that encourages readers to embrace courage, curiosity, and the power of friendship.
Laura's passion for storytelling is matched by her fascination with puzzles, mythology, and hidden mysteries. Drawing from those interests—and balancing them with a career as a data engineer—she creates layered fantasy worlds filled with clues, adventure, and discoveries waiting around every corner.
Through her publishing company, Athereal Publishing, Laura hopes to inspire readers of all ages to look beyond the ordinary and believe in the limitless possibilities of imagination. Her stories celebrate bravery, perseverance, and the excitement of exploring worlds where ancient legends continue to live on.
When she's not writing, Laura enjoys life in Arizona with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and five cats, and is currently working on the next chapter in the Soul Ferriers series.
