The Scottsdale Book Festival is quickly becoming one of Arizona’s most talked-about cultural events — and the excitement is just getting started.

As we head into the new year, the festival is proud to share that we have multiple major media features confirmed, including upcoming print coverage in Phoenix Magazine, So Scottsdale Magazine, and Image AZ Magazine, along with live television features on 12News and 3TV Arizona’s Family. These stories will spotlight the festival’s mission, growth, and the incredible creative community coming together in downtown Scottsdale.

Beyond media buzz, the festival continues to expand its programming in meaningful ways. We’ve recently announced three dynamic author panels, featuring nine participating authors and two special guest hosts/moderators, offering conversations that explore storytelling, creativity, comics, and children’s literacy.

Families can also look forward to two special Storytime Sessions, complete with puppets, costumes, interactive readings, and joyful crowd engagement — bringing books to life for young readers in unforgettable ways. Adding to the fun, special guest superheroes inspired by Marvel will make surprise appearances throughout the festival grounds, creating memorable moments for kids and fans of all ages.

From authors and illustrators to educators, performers, vendors, and families, the Scottsdale Book Festival is shaping up to be a full-day celebration of books, imagination, creativity, and community — all in the heart of downtown Scottsdale.

And this is just the beginning. More announcements, features, and programming updates will continue to roll out as we get closer to festival day.
