Meet Natalie Wright — epic fantasy and science fiction author, storyteller of magic and myth, and creator of unforgettable worlds filled with lovable misfits and powerful adventure. A lifelong lover of sci fi and fantasy, Natalie brings imagination, heart, and layered worldbuilding to every story she tells.
Natalie is the author of Season of the Dragon (2023), named a Top 10 Indie Epic Fantasy by both Bookshop.org and Ingram, as well as the award-winning H.A.L.F. series, and Emily’s House, which has been read over 2.1 million times on Wattpad. She is also a proud author member of SFWA (Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association).
Before becoming a full-time author, Natalie practiced law as a divorce attorney — a fascinating contrast to the magical worlds she now creates. Today, she frequently appears on writer panels at major conferences such as the Nebula Conference, BookLife’s Indie Author Forum, and book festivals across the western United States.
When she’s not writing the next installment of her Dragos Primeri series from her dark-academia-style office, Natalie is immersed in fantasy and sci-fi books, shows, movies, and RPGs. She lives in Arizona with her husband, two cat overlords, and often visits her college-age son in New York City.
Natalie is also available for book clubs, workshops, and community groups, sharing both her storytelling journey and her insights into the writing craft.
✨ Meet Natalie Wright at the Scottsdale Book Festival and step into worlds of dragons, destiny, and epic imagination.
