Meet Michele Vrabel, an Arizona-based writer, speaker, and storyteller whose work centers on healing, faith, and the courage to walk your own path — even when it’s messy.

By day, Michele is an expert “bean counter,” but her creative superpowers extend far beyond spreadsheets. A pastry chef at heart and an author in training, Michele brings warmth, humor, and what her writing coach Bob Goff calls unmistakable “sass” to everything she creates. She is currently nearing the finish line on her debut book, Butterfly Stitches, with more stories already taking shape behind it.

Rooted in lived experience, Michele writes and speaks with honesty and heart, sharing stories meant to help others hear the sound of healing in their own lives. Through her writing and her podcast, Old School with Michele Vrabel, she opens space for reflection, resilience, and faith-led transformation.

Michele lives in Mesa, Arizona, with her college-aged daughter affectionately known as “Peanut.” A passionate traveler, foodie, and quick-witted storyteller, she approaches life with joy, authenticity, and an openness to wherever the next meaningful moment might lead.

Meet Michele Vrabel at the Scottsdale Book Festival and discover stories shaped by faith, healing, and the beauty of becoming.
