Meet Vicki Nicholson, a fantasy author whose provocative storytelling blends modern-day vampires with rich historical twists and sharp contemporary themes. Her work explores seductive power dynamics, coven rivalries, and the dangerous intersection of science and supernatural politics.

Born in Ohio and raised in South Florida, Vicki is a proud graduate of the University of Florida. She followed her creative ambitions to New York City — armed with determination and nerve — where she earned her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. While in NYC, she taught creative writing at Art House Astoria before another leap carried her west to Arizona.

Now based in sunny Arizona, Vicki balances writing life with family, yoga mornings, rescue dogs, houseplants, and creative recharge sessions fueled by jazz, wine, and thoughtful conversation. You’ll often find her dreaming up her next story in a local coffee shop with a green tea — or a chai latte when the mood strikes.

Her latest novel, Blood Aeternum, is a gripping urban fantasy where blood is currency and survival comes at a cost. Blending bioengineering, forbidden attraction, and supernatural warfare, the story follows Marina, a brilliant scientist whose breakthrough threatens to upend both human and vampire worlds. With rival covens circling and loyalties tested, Blood Aeternum delivers a dark, seductive exploration of ambition, power, and desire.

Meet Vicki Nicholson at the Scottsdale Book Festival and step into a world where science collides with immortality — and no one escapes unchanged.
