Some mysteries begin with a missing jewel. Others begin with a wagging tail.
Award-winning Arizona author C.B. Wilson has built a loyal following by blending suspense, adventure, humor, and unforgettable animal companions into mysteries that keep readers turning pages. Drawing on her training as a GIA-certified gemologist, she brings authentic insider knowledge to stories filled with stolen diamonds, hidden histories, and high-stakes recoveries.
Her Gem Hunters series follows diamond recovery specialist Taylor "Hunter" and her remarkable diamond-sniffing dachshund, Glimmer, as they uncover mysteries that stretch across generations. Beginning with The Fire Diamond and continuing through The Water Diamond, with The Ice Diamond on the horizon, the series combines thrilling investigations with genuine gemological expertise rarely found in fiction.
For readers who enjoy cozier mysteries, C.B.'s Barkview Mysteries offer a charming escape to the dog-friendliest town in America, where loyal canine companions are just as important as solving the mystery itself. Rich with heart, humor, and memorable characters, the series delivers feel-good storytelling alongside satisfying whodunits.
