Entertainment at the Scottsdale Book Festival is all about bringing stories and characters to life for kids and families. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy scheduled storytime sessions with children’s book authors, interactive character meet-and-greets, and surprise appearances across the festival grounds.

Below you’ll find the full 2026 entertainment lineup, including storytime schedules and featured guest characters.

Storytime Sessions:

A perfect time for young readers who are ready to sit down, and join the story. We are excited to feature a children's book authors who bring a little xtra with there story times! Each session brings books to life with fun readings, character voices, and interactive crowd engagement.

Storytime Authors and Times:

• Vicki Riske + We Are Puppeteers | Time 12pm to 12:15pm
• Leslie Campa + Butterfly Books | Time 1:30pm to 1:45pm

Character Meet and Greet:

Bring the kids and family and join us for a photos and smiles visiting some of the beloved Marvel Universe characters with Arizona Avengers! These fun super heros will be on site and walking the grounds, posing for photos, and making sure our universe is amazing. *please note, select members will be on site, not full cast*.
