Tomorrow, the gates open and the stories step off the page.
The Scottsdale Book Festival arrives Saturday, January 24, bringing authors, readers, families, educators, artists, and curious minds together for a full day of discovery in downtown Scottsdale.
If there’s one thing to know before you arrive, it’s this: there’s no right way to experience the festival.
You don’t need to see everything. You don’t need a checklist. You don’t need to rush.
Multiple panels, storytimes, author signings, and activities will be happening throughout the day across the Scottsdale Civic Center — and that’s part of the magic. Wander. Pause. Sit down and listen. Step away for a snack or a coffee and come back when something catches your eye.
Bring a bag for books. Wear comfortable shoes. Give yourself permission to take your time.
This festival is designed for everyone — lifelong readers and brand-new book lovers, families with strollers, solo explorers, educators, creatives, and anyone who simply enjoys being around imagination and community.
Parking is available throughout downtown Scottsdale, staff and volunteers will be on hand to help guide you, and the festival is free, family-friendly, and open to all. Whether you stay for an hour or the entire day, you’re part of the story the moment you arrive.
Tomorrow isn’t about doing it all.
It’s about being present, curious, and open to what you discover.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
