Founded in 2004, The Bilingual Experience is a culturally driven language and storytelling organization led by respected Spanish-language professionals Yazmín Venegas and Fernando Cordova. Together, they bring decades of expertise in Spanish translation, interpretation, narration, and engagement with Hispanic audiences across the United States and Mexico.

At the heart of The Bilingual Experience is a belief that communication should be holistic and sensory — engaging more than just words on a page. Their approach blends language, sound, voice, and cultural context to create deeper understanding and meaningful connection, especially within the growing Hispanic community.

President Yazmín Venegas, a writer, journalist, and Spanish-language expert with over 30 years in radio, television, and communications, has expanded her passion for literature into professional narration, audiobook production, and literary translation. Her work is rooted in preserving Spanish language and culture while making stories accessible through voice and audio media.

Partner Fernando Cordova is a highly skilled simultaneous interpreter and qualitative moderator, known for his precision, energy, and leadership in bilingual and cross-cultural settings. His expertise in the Hispanic market and commitment to Total Quality Management ensures accuracy, clarity, and respectful communication across languages.

The Bilingual Experience offers professional translation and interpretation services, audiobook production, audio description, and bilingual reading experiences, helping stories reach broader audiences through sound, storytelling, and cultural authenticity.

As a participating vendor at the Scottsdale Book Festival, The Bilingual Experience supports the festival’s mission of literacy, inclusion, and cultural celebration — reminding us that stories are meant to be heard, felt, and shared.
