Today is the day. The Scottsdale Book Festival officially comes to life at the Scottsdale Civic Center, welcoming readers, families, authors, publishers, educators, and creatives from across Arizona and beyond for a full day of books, storytelling, and community.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the festival grounds will be filled with live author talks, book signings, family-friendly activities, marketplace booths, food vendors, and moments of discovery around every corner. Whether you’re here to meet a favorite author, explore new books, enjoy time with family, or simply soak in the atmosphere, there is no right or wrong way to experience the festival.
We encourage everyone to take their time and enjoy the day at their own pace. With multiple areas, activities, and exhibits happening throughout the Civic Center, you’ll find something new wherever you wander. Downtown Scottsdale will also be active today, with other events and regular weekend activity nearby, so please plan ahead, arrive patiently, and allow yourself time to park, walk, and explore.
This festival was created as a welcoming space — free, inclusive, and community-driven. Come as you are. Stay as long as you’d like. Read, listen, browse, and connect.
